FOUR robbers attacked a defenceless man in Hereford and stole his wallet.
The young male victim suffered an eye injury and was taken by ambulance to Hereford General Hospital.
The robbers, who are described as white males, carried out the attack outside the fish and chip shop at The Oval, in Newton Farm.
The four fled in the direction of Kilvert Road and Broxash Drive after stealing the victim's black wallet, containing £25 cash. The wallet was later found, but without the money.
The incident took place at around 10.30pm on Christmas Eve.
