FILM SOCIETY: The next film, Bread and Roses, showing at Number 8 will be on Saturday at 7.30pm. This is a Cert (15) film and will run for 1 hr 50 mins. The first US set film from director Ken Loach, the film concentrates on the plight of a group of Latino immigrant cleaners during a "Justice for Janitors" strike. A powerful film.

NCCPG (WORCESTERSHIRE GROUP): Members had a cheerful and enlightening evening with Suzyn Andrews, the Kew Horticulturist and specialist in 'Holly'. The 2002 programme starts on January 8 with a short annual general meeting followed by Dr Murray Mylechreest talking about The Origins of Garden Plants.
