A coffee morning was held at York Street Medical Centre on December 8, giving members the opportunity to renew their membership for the year and to meet Dr Caroline Heath and practice manager Sue Bennett, who joined the surgery recently.
Roy Crowe, chairman of the Friends of York House, presented a camcorder and ancillary equipment, purchased from fundraising events during the year, to Dr Chew.
He said that as the centre has been nominated as an undergraduate training practice for students, with effect from this month, the camcorder will be ideal for recording training sessions.
Keith Pratt and Mark Burston from Lickhill Middle School entertained with Christmas carols played on saxophones.
The annual meeting will be on Wednesday, January 23 at 7pm, following which Dr James Goodman will give a talk about the practice and its part within the NHS in Worcestershire.
Friends old and new will be welcome.
