IN reply to John Hinton (You Say, December 14) I felt sure he would take the bait as I believe he enjoys what he may think is a one-upmanship.
It appears that his favourite phase is "thought-provoking." If he thinks the waffle he refers to is purposeful, it makes me wonder what other literature he reads.
The answer I requested from John Hinton was, to which category did he consider he belongs, whether thick, ignorant or blindly selfish, as George Cowley has labelled all drivers. Of course if he is not a car driver, my case rests.
Regarding his statement "if we dislike any contributions, don't read them" may I suggest he does the same.
