TWO Droitwich workers were named employees of the year for 2001 at Robert Wiseman Dairies' first Annual Employee Awards Oscars.
Clerk Louise Thompson and machine operator Barinder Jassi work at the company's site at the Stonebridge Cross Business Park, in Hampton Lovett.
They were both presented with 100 company shares and a crystal gift at St Andrew's Bay Resort, in Fife, after impressing the judges with their initiative, dedication, inter personal skills and time keeping.
Managing director Robert Wiseman said: "We have always placed a great deal of importance on rewarding our staff for exceptional service through initiatives such as our Employee of the Quarter scheme which has been running for the past five years.
"This year we decided to make things a bit more special by staging an event at this luxurious new resort.
"We have a great team at Robert Wiseman Dairies so it is only fitting that we should take the opportunity to recognise the contribution made by our staff all year round."
