SINGERS of all abilities will converge on West Malvern later this month as they attempt to hit the right note at a vocal workshop.

Sing, Sing, Sing! is a class run by Eckington-based Hilary Davies, who has more than 20 years experience singing in folk clubs in Gloucester and Bristol.

Ms Davies has been running the class for two years at different venues throughout the region. The Malvern Wells workshop will be held in the village hall on January 20 and will focus on unaccompanied harmony and the joy of singing for oneself, rather than for an audience.

Singers of all abilities are welcome and will be given the chance to hear and sing music from across the world.

"When you sing with a group the end result is just such a buzz," said Ms Davies.

She said the class was really about encouraging people to enjoy singing and giving them experience of songs that they would not normally come across.

"It's a bit of exploration," said Ms Davies.
