THE Midlands Two West game between Bromsgrove RFC Firsts and Sutton Coldfield was postponed on December 22 because of frost.
A decision was left until a few minutes before the scheduled kick off time - much to the annoyance of players and Town's travelling supporters.
With the exception of the Thirds, all of Bromsgrove's other teams played and perhaps were full of early festive cheer because they all lost.
The Seconds, turning around at half time three points adrift, were well beaten 40-7 by a young and lively Sutton side.
Town's Fourth XV played an experienced Old Patesians side from Cheltenham and lost 20-6.
The Crusaders were complaining about inadequate opposition and found their fixture at Bridgnorth upgraded from the Veterans - who were Christmas shopping - to the Seconds. Bromsgrove were beaten 18-12.
Two of the Colts' influential players travelled as replacements for the Firsts and they lost 19-12 to a newly established Bridgnorth side replacing the carded Kidderminster fixture.
