IN Division Three of the Bromsgrove Advertiser/Messenger District Football League Greyhound Hunters were beaten 4-3 by visitors Sporting Harbourne on December 23.
Alex Crawford, Ian West and Gareth Hall netted for the home side but it wasn't enough as Steve Towler, Louis Bronson, Steve Hassall and Tom James won it for Harbourne. Castle drew 1-1 with Bromsgrove General in Division Two with the goals coming from Glen Mandry and Joe Brookes.
In the third round of the Gordon Bridgewater Cup, Division Three side Stourport Town were beaten 4-3 by Division One club Turks Head. John Ward, Keith Bradley and Tom Faukes scored for the underdogs. A Ryan Fassey brace, along with goals from Nick Lawley and Matt Carter, sent the visitors into the next round.
