ONE person was airlifted to Selly Oak Hospital after a three-vehicle accident on the M5 near Bromsgrove.
Fire fighters were called to the scene on the southbound carriageway between junction 4A at Bromsgrove and Junction 5, Wychbold on Wednesday December 26, at around 2.30pm.
One person was trapped in their vehicle during the crash, which took place in the fast lane. Another person was also injured, and was taken to Selly Oak Hospital, Birmingham in an ambulance.
Central Motorway Police said the accident involved a car, an HGV and an LGV. The motorway was fully reopened by 3.45pm.
