FOLLOWING the success of the coaching seminar back in July and the goalkeepers' coaching day in September, the Worcestershire Football Association has launched the Worcestershire Coaches Association.
The first session will take place between 7-9.30pm on Thursday, January 17 at the Sports Hall, University College Worcester, Henwick Road, Worcester.
The guest speaker and coach will be Tom Stack, county coaching representative for Birmingham and FA Coach Educator diploma holder.
Mr Stack has been tutor of numerous junior team managers, certificate and license (UEFA B) courses throughout the West Midlands including Worcestershire, and is rated as a highly amusing speaker.
The evening should be informative for all and will take the format of a theory, followed by a practical coaching session, and volunteers to participate are required.
To join the Coaches Association (no football coaching qualification required) costs £10, which will entitle members to attend four sessions during 2002.
They will also receive direct information on coaching courses in Worcestershire and a copy of the development newsletter 'Update.'
Alternatively, individual sessions can be attended for the sum of £4 per session.
Anyone interested in attending the first session or joining the association should contact Andy Norman on 07790-894121.
