TOP teachers in Worcestershire could be in line for a national education award.
Parents and pupils are being urged to nominate the county's best teachers and schools for a place in the Education Resources Awards 2002.
Teachers can even nominate themselves.
The awards, which will take place alongside the Education Show in Birmingham during March, recognise leadership in teaching and the educational establishment of the year, as well as rewarding the supply sector.
Winners will be announced at a high-profile gala to be staged at the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham.
The Oscar-style event will take place in front of 500 top education professionals and suppliers.
"We're seeking nominations from the public, schools and teachers alike for teachers with outstanding leadership qualities," said awards organiser Grant Collier.
"We're also looking for successful schools that have either demonstrated year-on-year improvement, or perhaps clever school management, or how the school has created partnerships with business or the community."
Nominations can be submitted to Emma Nichols on 01322 660070 or at emma.nichols@nexusmedia.com before Friday, January 25.
