Four goals from set-pieces did not help Fernhill Heath Old Boys when Midland Combination Division Two leaders Barnt Green Spartak beat them 6-3.
Fernhill Heath started brightly and took the lead on 15 minutes when Mark Blundell's free kick beat the 'keeper from 25 yards.
Spartak hit back to leval but the Old Boys again took the lead when Steve Challis headed home from Wayne Berry's corner. Barnt Green then took control and scored twice to lead 3-2 at half time.
The second half started at a fast pace and Barnt Green went 4-2 up from a corner kick.
The home side pulled another goal back when Ian Bowman's cross was flicked on by Carl Forrester and Berry forced the ball home.
However it was Barnt Green who showed their ability to break quickly and score two more goals to take the points.
