Redditch United slipped back towards the Dr Martens League Western Division relegation zone following their 4-1 defeat at a foggy Cinderford Town.
All the damage was done in the opening half at the Causeway as the Forest of Dean side romped into a four-goal lead.
Daryl Addis opened the scoring after just three minutes, forcing the ball out of the mud and past Reds goalkeeper Neil Olden.
Leigh Hall added a second on 19 minutes, tucking the ball home after Raith Plant had done all the hard work in beating the 'keeper.
Plant made it 3-0 on 31 minutes with a splendid solo strike with Addis netting his second of the game in injury time.
Dense fog made the match a lottery in the second period but Mark Swann scored a late consolation, volleying home from the edge of the area.
Reds have now slipped back to 18th place in the table, although they have an eight-point cushion over bottom club Swindon Supermarine.
