A WORCESTER woman has come up trumps after winning a voucher in a recent council survey.
The Worcester City Council survey called How People Contact the Council was sent to 3,000 city residents, randomly selected from the electoral register.
Joyce Brown from St Peter's was due to be presented with a £30 Marks & Spencer voucher today after being selected as the winner.
"As a resident it's important our local council consults with us on such important issues," she said.
Important
"Communication between local agencies and local people is very important.
"Such surveys offer us a chance to feed back our ideas into the council and should be warmly supported throughout the community.
"I look forward to spending my vouchers."
As part of the Corporate Property and Facilities Management Best Value Review, the survey results showed that 75 per cent of local people contact the council, the most popular method being by telephone.
It also showed revenue and benefits to be the most popular subjects for discussion.
