HOTSHOT striker Sam Bowen is set to start in Bromsgrove Rovers' Worcestershire FA Senior Urn second round clash at home to Feckenham tonight (7.45).
The former Worcester City striker, the club's leading scorer this season with 13 goals, was on the bench for Rovers' Midland Alliance trip to leaders Stratford Town at the weekend which ended in a 2-2 draw.
Joint caretaker boss Gary Hackett said the league remained top priority for the Victoria Ground club but added they were not taking the cup or the visit of the Midland Combination Premier Division lightly.
"Without doubt the league is the main priority but we want to win every match," he said.
Fringe
"The Senior Urn is not something that we are taking lightly and we will be going for the win but there will be changes from Saturday with some of the fringe players having a go to show exactly what they can do.
"It gives me an opportunity to have a look at them although Jon Ford, who has been here since the start of the season, is more familiar with everyone."
Among the players set to start include striker Liam O'Neil and the talented youngster Kiel Sumnal. Injured defender Sam Campagna, who has missed most of the season, is also in contention for a place.
Hackett has seen his side string an impressive run of results together which has seen them rise to third in the table, nine behinds behind Stratford but with a game in hand.
Strikes from Les Palmer and Grant Beckett, both scoring their second goals in as many games, helped Rovers to grab a point but Hackett was left slightly disappointed that they did take all three points.
"It was a good result but I was disappointed we didn't get the victory because I thought we had the better of the chances," he said.
"For the neutral it was a very good game of football to watch and I think they would concede we deserved to win on the balance of play."
