Three blunders from keeper Stuart Brock turned a potentially vital victory into heavy defeat for Kidderminster Harriers.
After an entertaining first half, with Harriers often threatening to break the deadlock, they did take the lead on 50 minutes through Danny Williams' first goal for the club.
But Brock had a nightmare five minutes which saw Harriers 3-1 down by the 58th minute.
He let a Matt Taylor cross-shot beat him, was poorly positioned for Matthew Spring's second and them fumbled a Kevin Nicholls shot for Steve Howard to tap in a third.
Luton added a fourth through Spring against a shell-shocked Harriers who had looked well set to gain a very useful win at one point.
Jan Molby's men, and particularly Brock, must pick themselves up for Saturday's game at home to Darlington where they must search for three points to keep up with the play-off chasers.
