ONCE again, Thomas Bromley (You Say, December 29), tries to denigrate those in the medical profession who are opposed to vivisection by asking if they would refuse to administer medications because they have been tested on animals.
The question signifies a failure of intellect that does not understand that choice has been removed completely.
Water has been tested on animals - would the apologists for vivisection suggest that anti-vivisectionists do not drink?
And, just because a group of people happens to agree with a practice, it does not automatically follow that it is a valid practice.
Many vivisectors have turned their back on the industry and have written numerous books exposing the sham that this pseudo science is.
These ex-vivisectors have joined the growing ranks of enlightened doctors who are calling for the abolition of this dangerous practice, not only on ethical grounds, but proven scientific grounds.
