A FREE workshop designed to help businesses make the most of exhibitions and trade fairs is being held at the Abbey Hotel, Malvern.
The workshop, organised by the Chamber of Commerce and Business Link Herefordshire and Worcestershire, will run from 9.30am to 12.15pm on Friday, January 18 and will include a buffet lunch.
It will feature a presentation by the Association of Exhibition Organisers (AEO) on how to exhibit, as well as practical tips for cost-effective exhibiting and how to measure exhibition success.
"Exhibitions attracted more than 10 million visitors in 1999 and have been growing rapidly as a means of gaining new business," said Peter Morgan, media relations manager at the Chamber of Commerce.
He said a recent survey by AEO had found that 73 per cent of exhibition visitors were involved in selecting, recommending or buying products and services.
There will also be further information at the workshop about exhibiting at the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Business Festival 2002, due to be held on Thursday, March 7, at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
