ABOUT 100 years ago, this was the scene along Evesham Road in Crabbs Cross.
In those days, the building on the left was a pub called the Royal Oak.
The building still stands but is now a private property.
The postcard was kindly loaned by Alan Foxall of the Redditch Pictorial History Society.
Old postcards or photographs of Redditch or the surrounding villages can be sent to Julian Seva at the Advertiser.
They will be returned once used.
