MALVERN RFC travel to Kenilworth on Saturday knowing that the home side are still smarting from a November 17-10 reverse at Spring Lane which prevented them from topping the table.
David Robins, director of rugby at Malvern said: "This game is bound to be keenly contested as Kenilworth look to avenge the defeat which finally saw us start out climb up the table. Meanwhile, we will be looking for an away bonus win.
"The closeness of this league means that away points are critical in addition to trying for maximum home results. We are capable of beating any side in the division as long as we are on top of our game."
Prop Steve Cooper is rested on the bench, making way for James Daniell, whilst the ever-dependable Steve Taylor joins Cooper to allow Paul Hart his first start of the season following his successful rehabilitation after injury and his good performances as replacement. Dave Irish returns at hooker with the rest of the side are the players who defeated Longton last week.
The match also sees the divisons leading kickers in opposition with Malvern captain Andy Longley at present leading the points table with 85 points and Kenilworth's James Cathcart in second place with 79 points.
Kick off is at 2.30pm with the coach leaving Spring Lane at 11.30am. Directions to the ground can be found on www.thisismrfc.co.uk (Your say!) and www.malvernrugbyclub.co.uk for supporters travelling separately.
