I WOULD like to thank those members of Studley Sports & Social Club who took the time to provide and construct the sleigh for Santa and to transport him around the village.

To all of Santa's helpers who braved the cold evenings to knock on doors, I would also like to say thank you.

I would especially like to thank all the people of the village who generously gave what they could and the licensees who allowed us to enter their premises for a collection.

Thanks to everyone concerned, the Macmillan Cancer Relief charity has benefited greatly. Total raised £1,012.
