BROMSGROVE Rovers crashed out of the second round of the Worcestershire Senior Urn last night with a 4-2 home defeat at the hands of Feckenham.
Seven players were rested from Saturday's league line-up against Stratford Town, but the fringe squad players failed to impress and were soon in trouble against their lower league opponents from the Midland Combination Premier Division.
Dean Meyrick grabbed the visitors' first after just 87 seconds when Jimmy McGettrick could only palm away Carl Fairhurst's left wing cross.
Sam Bowen saw two shots cleared before bringing the scores level on 19 minutes when he converted Liam O'Neil's right wing cross with a low drive.
The visitors regained the lead on 32 minutes through Steve Cross but Rovers levelled on 38 minutes when O'Neil fired home.
Feckenham deservedly re-took the lead before half-time courtesy of Brian Powell and extended their lead 18 seconds into the second half when Powell scored his second with a glorious curling shot from the corner of the area.
Rovers rallied towards the end but were unable to break down a resolute Feckenham defence.
