ALCESTER fly half Matt Gwyn could make a long-awaited return to action at Warwickshire One basement boys Trinity Guild on Saturday.
Gwyn has been sidelined for two months with an ankle problem but was set to train last night with a view to being involved in Saturday's fixture (ko 2.15pm).
His return would be a timely boost with Alcester needing to avoid slip-ups after a fortnight without a game.
Captain Alan Williams is harbouring hopes of the second promotion spot and a win at the weekend could see his side clamber to third.
