Murphy began his career at Bradford City where he established himself as an important member of their youth side before joining Wimbledon.
Despite representing Ireland at U-16, U-21 and B level, he could not force his way into the Premier League team and was released in season 98/99.
After playing for Dundalk in Ireland, Murphy impressed enough for Harriers to swoop for his signature in July 2000 in a two-year deal.
But his chances have been restricted at Aggborough and he is yet to make his Football League debut.
This season: 0 games.
Status: Reserve goalkeeper.
