San Diego-born Joy began his footballing education at Tranmere Rovers but did not make the first team.
After leaving Prenton Park, he moved to Scottish side Stirling Albion and made a couple of substitute appearances before joining Montrose last season.
An American youth international, Joy was a regular for the Third Division strugglers, playing 25 games and scoring two goals.
He spent a trial period with Harriers in the summer of 2001 before agreeing a two-year contract with Molby looking for competition for regular left-back Scott Stamps.
This season: 7 games, 2 sub appearances.
Status: Reserve left-back.
