JAN Molby took Richie Appleby to Swansea in August 1996 and is now reunited with him until the end of the season at least.
The versatile Appleby, who can play on the wing or in midfield, began his career at Newcastle United and represented England at youth level.
He only played several minor cup games in his native north-east and was freed to Ipswich Town where he was given three substitute appearances in Division One.
Appleby moved onto Swansea and proved a success under Molby though injuries have restricted his appearances since then.
He was transfer listed by new boss Colin Addison and joined Harriers on loan before making a more permanent switch on a free transfer in late December.
Appleby crowned his debut by scoring after coming on as a substitute at Leyton Orient and is very comfortable on the ball.
This season: 8 games, 1 substitute appearance, 2 goals.
Status: First-choice midfield/forward, hamstring injury.
