DRAWINGS, paintings and poetry by inmates at a prison near Bromsgrove will be on display throughout the month.
Inmates at Blakenhurst Prison, in Tardebigge, have contributed their works of art for an exhibition at Redditch Library.
Around 20 creative members of the full-time art course at the Hewell Lane prison contributed to The Hidden Talent display, co-ordinated by art tutor James Ambrose.
Prison deputy governor Steve Holland and the mayor of Redditch, Cllr Dot Dudley, opened the show at the Market Place library on Friday.
Blakenhurst education department tutor David Johnston said: "It is good the prisoners have been given the opportunity to take part in the exhibition
"It is also a way for the prisoners to express themselves positively."
