POLICE and bus companies need to work together to tackle crimes against drivers, says First Midland Red after youths allegedly attacked a driver for just £3.
Colin Darby was parked in Unicorn Hill on December 27 when he says five or six youths got on his number 70 bus.
One shoved his hand under the security screen, pushing Mr Darby and managing to grab some money.
Mr Darby said the attack followed one just minutes earlier in which another driver was punched in the face.
But the 53 year old has complained police took nearly a week to respond to his call after the incident.
