Oldbury United 1 Studley BKL 3
Studley gained three away points despite a lacklustre performance at strugglers Oldbury, writes Paul Jenkins.
Playing in borrowed yellow shirts after a colour clash the Bees failed to make much of an impression in the first half.
Their only clear-cut chance came on the half hour when the ball fell to Kevin Rowlands but keeper Ross Bate made a good save.
Seconds earlier United had taken the lead through a Neil Hesson header and it was the hosts who looked sharper in the closing moments of the half.
But BKL came out fighting after the break and equalised on 52 minutes when Rowlands headed in a Kenny Fergie corner.
And the visitors went ahead after a horrendous pass from home defender Nicky Dunne went straight to Studley's Jamie Bailey who calmly beat the keeper from inside the box.
Studley looked in control with Rowlands going close again and finished the game in injury time when a long ball from debutant Ian Mitchell put leading scorer Craig Pountney through for the third.
