BROMSGROVE Rovers proved their championship credentials in the 2-2 draw with league leaders Stratford Town on Saturday.
Joint manager Gary Hackett said the Greens were the better side and the players were disappointed not to come away with the three points.
He also praised the Bromsgrove supporters for making the clash at Stratford seem like a home game at times.
Hackett said: "The fans made a big difference and I'd like to thank them. Anybody who may have been dismayed by the club over the last three years will be welcomed back with open arms.
"We started strongly on Saturday and should have been more than 1-0 in front at half time.
"I think we just shaded the game but we must think of it as a point gained even though we thought we should have won.
"There's a very positive feeling at the club and we are telling the players to put teams on the back foot from the start.
"We've secured ten points out of a possible 12 and we must keep the pressure on Stratford."
He believed one of the keys to the club's recent form has been the strength on the Rovers bench with leading scorer Sam Bowen, Gordon Lynch and Richard Kavanagh all itching to get back into the starting line-up.
Hackett said: "Sam will be a handful at any level and I think he'll play a major part for us during the remainder of the season."
The management team of Hackett and Jon Ford are still talking to potential recruits and hope to attract new players to the Victoria Ground in the coming weeks.
