THERE was an encouraging turnout for last weekend's skater hockey sessions at Evesham High School.
"It was really good for a first session," said organiser David Clarke-Sykes. "There were around 25 children for the younger age group and nine for the session for older youngsters."
Sessions are set to continue every Saturday at Evesham High School but the times have changed from this weekend.
Players aged eight-14 will now take to the court for an hour at 3pm with the 14 and over skaters playing between 4 and 5pm.
Following Saturday's second session, there will be a roller disco starting at 5.30pm with an admission charge of £2.50.
Anyone interested in having a go or just attending the disco should come to the High School on Saturday. Players are asked to wear a helmet (cycle) and padding for knees, elbows and shins. Ring 01386 871881 for further information.
Following the success of the inaugural club, officials would like to thank Hard Drive Computers, Franklins, Someone Cares Home Care Agency and Evesham High School for their support.
