HOCKEY: Stourport will be competing in English Hockey Indoor Premier League matches over the next two weekends at Wyre Forest Glades Leisure Centre.
They were promoted from Division One last season after finishing second behind Canterbury.
Among the major tests will be last season's play-off winners Guildford, league top side Old Loughtonians and St Albans.
Promotion and relegation will be on a two-up-two-down basis.
The top four teams will play off for the right to represent England in the European Indoor Club Championships in 2003 at Crystal Palace.
Stourport competed in the DTZ Midland Invitation tournament at the Glades during the weekend.
They beat Newport 6-4, drew 6-6 with Doncaster and lost 6-3 to Old Loughtonians.
Fixtures, Men, Saturday: Stourport v Loughborough Students (11.15am), v St Albans (4.30pm). Sunday: v Yeovil & Sherbourne (11.45am), v Guildford (4.20pm).
Saturday, January 19: v East Grinstead (1.25pm), v Old Loughtonians (6.20pm). Sunday, January 20: v Southgate (9.55am), v Canterbury (12.40pm).
Stourport Ladies' match against Leominster was cancelled at the weekend due to the weather.
They restart their season on Saturday with a friendly fixture at Bloxwich.
Squad: Hinett, Long, Maughan, Kennedy, Terry, Martin, A Baron, Bagnall, Bailey, T Baron, Clowes, Bristow, Roberts.
The seconds' match was also cancelled and they have no match this weekend. The thirds will travel to Great Alne on Saturday for a friendly.
