ATHLETICS: Kidderminster and Stourport Athletic Club's senior women and U-15s girls teams won their sections at the Worcestershire Cross Country Championships.
The girls retained the trophy they won the previous year, while there were second places for the U-13 boys and senior men in the competition at Halesowen.
There was also a good display from the U-13 girls who finished third.
All athletes who finished in the top six will represent the county at the Inter-Counties race on February 9 at Nottingham.
Results, U-13s girls: 4 Charlotte James, 18 Kera Bennett, 22 Danielle Harris, 24 Caroline Park.
U-15s girls: 2 Fay Kitchen, 4 Alison Young, 6 Laura Easton, 10 Claire Cashmore.
Senior Women: 3 (1st veteran lady) Liz Gould, 5 (2nd senior lady) Louise Littlewood, 6 Sue Howarth.
U-13s boys: 5 Aiden Dourneen, 8 Simon Rudd, 9 Tom Sivell, 10 James Humphries, 12 Mark Harris, 13 Jake Egginton, 14 Adam Nowell, 17 James Shuck.
U-15s boys: 10 Adam Granger.
U-17s men: 5 Matt Granger.
Senior Men: 1 Tom Kenderdine, 6 (1st veteran 40) Rob Chrzan, 10 Kevin Green, (3rd veteran 45) Bob Park, Andy Millward.
