I AM totally disgusted at Councillor Frank Baillie's attempts to discredit Bewdley Town Council for the second time in his short political career.
The last time he accused the town council of "sour grapes" because we dared to question a planning application he had submitted.
This time he has surpassed himself by saying that grousing is our major success and comparing us with two children's TV programmes!
He then tells everyone that the Residents Flood Committee is not controlled by the town council, which I think everyone is aware of because it is called the "Residents" Flood Committee.
The town council are very proud of our Residents Flood Committee and as he said in his letter a town councillor commented that they do a tremendous amount of work.
We fully support them and are pleased that they are gaining national recognition.
I have asked my local district councillor to raise my complaints at the next full meeting of Wyre Forest District Council and demand that Councillor Baillie withdraw his comments and apologise to Bewdley town councillors who all work extremely hard for the good of Bewdley.
Although Councillor Baillie signed his letter as county councillor for Rock and Bewdley, he is also the chairman of Wyre Forest District Council and I feel that in view of his unwarranted comments he should resign this position.
