PAUL Webb, who was released by Kidderminster Harriers earlier this week, has turned down the chance to join Bromsgrove Rovers.
The midfielder had been linked with the manager's job at the Victoria Ground club but is still keen to play.
"It is fair to say he won't be joining Rovers," said secretary Phil Baker.
"The chairman, Tom Herbert, had a long discussion with Paul, but at 34 he still considers he can carry on playing."
Meanwhile, Bromyard Town lost 4-3 at Tipton last night. Luke Willetts (2) and Andy Chal-mers scored Town's goals.
