A JUDGE has praised a Kidderminster man for his efforts to kick a drug habit.
Neil Soley was made the subject of a drug-testing order after he was convicted at Worcester Crown Court last year on two charges of possessing heroin.
But when the order was reviewed, a probation officer said 36-year-old Soley, of Park Street, had successfully completed a drug awareness programme.
In addition, he had found a new partner and got a job. He had committed no further offences.
Judge Ian Morris said he was impressed by the way Soley had altered his life-style. "Well done up to now, but you still have a long way to go," he said.
He ordered another review of the order in March.
