THE Studley Blue and White Rope Skippers are bidding to qualify for the World Championships on home turf this year.
The British Rope Skipping Association are holding the British National Team Championships at the new Studley Sports Centre for the first time a week on Saturday.
Studley will lock horns with Belgian clubs Sportac and Riverienhof and a Danish club for the title which they have dominated in recent years.
And the hosts will have to finish in the top three to qualify for the annual World Championships in Belgium in April.
The Sports centre also hosts a Novice Competition in the morning which will see 15 clubs from Stoke-on-Trent, Hereford and London competing.
The fun starts at 11am.
