As always, a varied programme has been organised for the first half of 2002.
There will be two recitals in the Live at the Library Series at Kidderminster Library. On March 8, sisters Yaelin and Chaelin Chung, students of society president Beryl Chempin, will give the society's 28th Young Musicians Recital, and on June 7, another pianist, David Quigley, will entertain.
Christopher Morley will be at Holy Innocents Hall on February 8, to recommence From Bach to Bernstein via Mozart, Beethoven, Mahler and Britten, a rescheduled programme of recorded music, and society vice-president, the well-known broadcaster Lyndon Jenkins, will present Old Wine in New Bottles on April 12.
The programme starts on January 11 with Kings and Queens part one, presented by Alison Osborne and friends. Part two will be on January 25, preceded by an extraordinary meeting.
