Social time at the December meeting was led by Dorothy Norman, talking about her career in music. She played the recorder, sang and related anecdotes of mishaps during stage performances.
The annual dinner is at Harvington Hall on Monday, January 21 at 7.30pm.
To mark The Queen's Golden Jubilee, a county production is being arranged for Friday and Saturday, June 21 and June 22. It is hoped to involve as many members as possible, and there will be informal auditions at WI House on Saturday, February 2, from 10am until 1pm. Interested members unable to attend on this day are requested to contact WI House.
The next meeting is on Monday when a "scene of crime" officer will give a talk.
Future meetings will include: February 11, when Tony Foxton will talk about the Alexander Technique (back care), and March 11 when Jane Brown will recollect Living in Trafalgar Square.
