NEW Year's Eve, 10.30am on the Cathedral roundabout, and workmen were in the process of demolishing the Christmas tree.
Coaches from other parts of the country were dropping off visitors to our city to visit the Cathedral, Royal Worcester factory, CrownGate and so on. What kind of message does this send out?
A Christmas tree is a symbol of light and hope in the darkest days of the winter and more especially this winter. Why are the citizens of Worcester deprived of their tree?
Come on Worcester - stand up for your Christmas tree - or maybe you just don't care?
