AN amazing £533.37 was raised in aid of Christian Aid by those who took part in the carol singing outside Tesco just before Christmas from the village.
The Christmas fayre held ay the newly restored Old Chapel at Hartpury benefited both Hartpury Historic Buildings Trust and Hartpury Parish Church with £246 going to the trust funds and £293 to the church.
Hartpury Village Hall will be holding a jumble sale on Saturday, January 26, starting at 2pm in the Village Hall, which will be for hall funds. Items can be collected and stored prior to the sale, ring (01452) 700403 or 700322.
Please note - the Chatter Mornings held in the Old Chapel have been postponed for the time being.
The Saturday lunch at Hartpury Methodist Church on December 1 raised £143 for the National Children's Home, this sum included the lunch, tombola and woodcraft. The collection from the Christmas morning service will also be added to that amount.
