A NEW general manager took over at the Lyttelton Well in Malvern this week.
Following in the footsteps of Andy Lyle, who left in December, Jean Holt says she has a number of ideas for improvement, following her move to Malvern Link from Tamworth.
For her new task at Malvern's Christian resource centre, bookshop and caf, she intends to draw on experience gained working in catering, retail management, business administration and with a Christian housing association, where she worked with young people.
Immediate ideas for improvement at the Well include bringing in a volunteer to help develop use of resource rooms available to hire and the expansion of counselling services, particularly by making crisis counselling available.
With healer husband, Chas, she also hopes to create a healing ministry, similar to one they established in their old Tamworth church.
Mrs Holt said: "We want to provide a service wherever it's needed, whatever the need. So we are preparing to meet that service. I would be delighted for members of the public to come along, whether they go to church or not, with any ideas.
"I've got the most wonderful team. I feel as if I have known everybody for years. I find the Malvern people very friendly, so I'm absolutely thrilled to be here."
