A FIRST updated guide to walks around Broadway has been produced following the construction of the village bypass.
Now in its fifth edition, the guide has been updated by David Jelfs and his son, Graham, of S & D Jelfs in the High Street, ably helped by member of staff Joanne Burdett who re-drew the maps.
It was members of the North Cotswold Walkers who produced the first guidebook in 1973, when Mr Jelfs senior was a member. The authors were assisted by the enthusiasm and immense local knowledge of the late Oliver Morris.
The current edition, the second update of the book, is the result of changes and path diversions following the construction of the A44 Broadway bypass. It also contains an added walk to Childswickham.
