MALVERN Town won the Malvern League's Under 18 division when they beat Warndon Youth 6-0 away on Sunday and they still have one league game to play.

The Gwilliam brothers were on form, with Sam marshalling the defence and Adam spearheading the attack and scoring the first goal after 17 minutes.
Edward Lyons recorded the next two goals, when firstly he headed on, outpaced the defence and placed the ball to the left of the Warndon goalie, and then connected well with a good through ball by skipper Dale Humphries. Humphries then got on the score sheet himself, allowing the team to turn around 4-0 up.
Warndon, to their credit, never gave up and Richard Lissenham and Sean Chadwick in particular had excellent games.
Graham Thomas went on a jinking run beating two defenders before slamming the ball home with a great left footed shot. Youngsters Chris Molineaux and Matt Cole came on as subs and combined well with Will Murtagh and Joe Layton, who had a faultless display at full back.
Humphries rounded off the scoring when he found space in the 18 yard box and was first to react to round off a very sound game.
