POWICK travelled to Hallow to play St Johns in this Sunday Division One game.
ST JOHNS 0, POWICK 2
For the first 20 minutes both teams played good football on a very difficult muddy surface. It was Powick who took the lead on 25 minutes when Stuart Fish had a throw in on the right. He passed the ball to Lee Richardson, who squared for Phil Skilton to shoot past the keeper. In the 27th minute Powick nearly went two up when Dave Buckley's shot was tipped over the bar.
The first ten minutes of the second half St Johns had two very good chances to get back into the game but were denied by the Powick keeper Taff Davies.
For the next 25 minutes play was in the centre of the park with neither team able to penetrate each other's defence.
In the 85th minute Powick sealed the points with a good through ball by Stuart Fish again for Phil Skilton to get his second goal.
Man of the match was Stuart Fish.
