A FEW words of farewell to Dennis Isaac, one of Worcester's good blokes.
Railwaymen often got on to the council but Dennis was the first bus driver and a proud one, too eagle-eyed behind the wheel he surveyed his beloved city as he laboured through the traffic jams.
But there was much more, a warm heart and a passion for helping ordinary people down on their luck.
He showed you don't need to be a world class orator to do the job, a ready smile and a deep sense of Worcester decency will take you a long way.
Good one mate, you did well!
JEFF CARPENTER,
Worcester.
