PEOPLE wanting to explore Worcestershire's waterways can find out more thanks to a new website.
British Waterways has devised an interactive website, providing state-of-the-art mapping and details of attractions near the country's canal and river network.
"In the same way that British Waterways is restoring and regenerating canals throughout the country - opening up waterways to a much wider cross-section of people - so our website will help give a unique flavour of what the inland waterways of Britain have to offer," said Clare Bampton, British Waterways' Midlands communications manager.
The new site at www.britishwaterways.co.uk has been completely rebuilt following feedback from visitors to the site.
Features of the site include 360-degree panoramic images, as well as mapping facilities for all journeys.
There are also databases of more than 280 holiday hire boat companies.
