A MASSIVE police hunt has been launched in Worcestershire after a schoolboy was subjected to an horrific sexual assault.
The attacker struck at lunchtime on Sunday as the young teenager walked into the men's toilets by the bus station in Bromsgrove.
The terrified boy, who had been waiting for a friend, was pounced on inside the toilet block at about 2.30pm.
He was not injured during his ordeal, but has been left extremely traumatised.
Forensic scientists have been combing the area for clues while camera experts trawled through CCTV footage.
Now, other CCTV footage taken at the time of the assault is being fine-tuned at a specialist unit in London so detectives are better able to try and identify the attacker.
Det Con Fiona Paterson, who is leading the investigation, said officers were desperate to speak to a man seen climbing out of a silver hatchback.
The man, who is white and aged between 30 and 35, parked the Renault Clio on double yellow lines, on Market Street, between 2.29pm and 2.37pm.
He is described as being 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build, with short, dark hair. He was wearing a light-coloured top and beige trousers.
Another person was spotted in the Clio's passenger seat, but police today were unable to issue a description.
"This young lad has been extremely traumatised by this serious sexual assault and we're working hard to find out who the offender is," Det Con Paterson said.
"We're currently awaiting some more CCTV pictures that are being enhanced and may take them to a specialist unit in London to help with this."
She urged anyone in or around the bus depot at the time to contact police - especially a woman waiting at the bus stop at the time the hatchback driver was in the area.
"She's described as a white woman with shoulder-length light-coloured hair, wearing a light-coloured top," Det Con Paterson said.
"We'd ask both of them to come forward and contact us because they might have vital information."
Information can be passed to Det Con Paterson on 01527 584888 or Crimestoppers, on 0800 555111, where a reward can be paid for information which leads to the arrest and charge of the attacker.
