A WORCESTER warehouse is bracing itself for demolition as part of a regeneration scheme.
The Springfield Warehouse, in Tallow Hill, is due to be knocked down to make way for a new development which aims to breathe new life into the run-down area.
Diggers have already moved into the site, near Shrub Hill Station, and one of the first buildings to go was the Beehive pub which has now been flattened.
Developers at Worcester City Council are now planning a new retail park, which will include a DIY shop, furniture store and pet shop, next to the canal.
