KIDDERMINSTER Harriers are hoping to sign on-loan striker Bo Henriksen on a permanent basis.
The 26-year-old has impressed Jan Molby with a number of high quality performances since arriving at Aggborough from Danish First Division side Herfolge.
His three-month loan spell ends on February 8, but the Harriers boss has already spoken to the player about the possibility of him staying.
Molby said: "We'd like to see him here permanently. Obviously there will be one or two stumbling blocks that we will have to overcome like agreeing a transfer fee with his club and also agreeing personal terms.
"He wouldn't cost a lot of money. There isn't a ridiculous transfer fee involved. I've had a chat to him and we made in-roads."
Molby, meanwhile, is hoping Harriers casualty list will have shrunk by the time he sits down to select the team for Saturday's Nationwide League Division Three clash at play-off rivals Scunthorpe.
The player most likely to return is central defender Abdou Sall following a groin injury.
Midfielder Mark Blake (Achilles tendon) and striker Colin Larkin (hamstring) are currently rated at having only a 50-50 chance of being fit in time while Colin Appleby is regarded by Molby as being "highly unlikely" to be ready to face The Iron.
Scott Stamps, suspended for last Saturday's 1-0 win over Darlington, is suffering from a back injury but should return to Harriers defence.
Defender Parfait Medou-Otye is due to see a specialist for further tests on Thursday for a worrying circulation problem in his right foot.
Molby said: "He's got a blockage and he's going in for his final tests. Then we'll know exactly what the problem is.
"It is a very serious problem and it's something he has developed over a period of time, maybe the last 12 months. It's just got worse and it's got to the stage where obviously he didn't feel he could do anything."
Despite the number of injury problems Harriers had for last Saturday's clash with Darlington there was not even room on the bench for out-of faviour Tony Bird, who has turned down the chance of a three-month loan move to Nationwide Conference strugglers Chester City.
